Does anyone have any golf tips for ball contact with an iron?
I tend to release the club too early to avoid topping the ball, can anyone suggest a good tip to enable a clean strike trapping the ball between clubhead and turf, I am aware of weight shift and hands ahead of the ball but the problem persists.

Play the ball slightly forward of your stance as opposed to mid-stance…
