The technique was great Joe, but you made the cardinal error that a lot of golfers make and lifted your head as you played the shot and pushed it into the bunker to the right.
I love your videos though.
I use the punch shot alot, but listen to this crap
1.-On a par 4, im playing my approach shot from a sliced drive. I hit it clean, what happens, 1 branch smackes the ball down. Happened again with a pitching wedge shot from under a tree
Yeah! And You will get backspin on the ball also, so You can stop it from rolling off teh green. Punch shoots is useful in shortplay situations!

useful…but they should have done a retake at 1.45 ish. His shot is clearly going towards the sand bunker. then magically from another camera angle rolls onto the green! lol

Maybe your next tip would be how to get out the Bunker you just put it in …

Once on a long par 3 I hooked the ball 50 feet left from the green, and it hit a tree to bounce almost all the way back lol.

someone must be hiding behind the bunker,cos i swear the ball was heading towards it, then the ball magically rolled into the green.
